San Diego, a very nice city. The harbor is filled with actual retired battleships now converted into museums, ferry boat rides and tours, nice restaurants, and a great place just to walk around. In 1998, the California State Fair paid homage to Elvis Presley on the 20th anniversary of his untimely passing. Elvis impersonators, stilt walkers, cars, costumes and more were on display at this "Elvis Expo." Also included in the opening ceremony was the unveiling of a brillilant Elivis postage stamp sheet issued by the nation of Micronesia -- designed by renown artist, Shannon.
